Helicon Stack of Chineese Lantern
Had a quick experiment with Helicon Remote and Focus again this evening. I found an interesting looking plant around the house, swiped it and stuck it in a light tent.
Then using Helicon Remote to take the shots at F2.8 between the first and last points, got it to take a stack of 17 jpeg images.
The results were then loaded into Helicon Focus and stacked using the defaults on method B.
The image below was what was produced from the program after a minor levels tweak in Photoshop.
Pressing the 3D model button, generates a model that you can look at that represents the item, you’ve stacked. I quite liked this snapshot that I took as a standalone image.
