Martin Down – There be Elephants
A visit to Martin Down a Natural England NNR on Sunday, and I spotted another large moth in the Grass. This time a Small Elephant Hawk moth.
The moth was taken on my Canon 50d with the Canon 100mm Macro Lens and my Twin Macro Flash.
#1 This shot was taken at 1:1 F11 ISO 400.
Canon EOS 50D (100mm, f/11, 1/250 sec, ISO400)#2 This shot showing the whole of the moth, at ISO 100 F11.
Canon EOS 50D (100mm, f/11, 1/250 sec, ISO100)#3 Lastly also at F11 ISO 400 is this shot of the moth, not as good I feel as the first, but what I did not notice was the insect and parasite in the top RHS of the image until I got it onto my PC.
