After the Rain.
A quick visit to White Mill – after some rain in the afternoon, proved a good time to find some insects drying off, and therefore more easy to shoot macro shots, as they could not run off. In fact at the start it was still slightly raining, so I found a nice green/red leaf and shot some snails on it. My favourite being this first one.

Nearby a nice doc leaf beetle posed in this colourful environment.

But best of all, for me, was finding a Large Red Damselfly that was drying off its wings. This allowed me to get up close and personal with the MPE-65mm and even get a two shot stack with that macro lens, with some pink card held behind it.

Finally I found this poor moth with a unappreciated fashion accessory.
