Black Darter
I took a visit to a new local location today – Christchurch Common, in search of some Black Darter Dragonflies. After a good hunt round this large heathland reserve, I finally found some females around a small pond.
I used my manfrotto befree tripod to steady the shots of the darters on the heather. And even managed to get a 5 image stack of one of them over the heather. This is the result of the stack from Helicon Focus.
The other macro – or should I say close up images of these small dragonflies ( the UK’s smallest in fact ), are all single images.
