Large-red Damselfly Remastered

I have been uploading some pictures recently to 500px and as a result had been looking back at some older macro shots, as insect shooting is out of season.  I found these shots of a Large red Damselfly taken back in June 2012.  I decided that I would rework / remaster them to see if I could make the shots look better with the newer software that has come along since then.

In the rework I used Photoshop CC and Google Nik Viveza II.  The original shots can be seen in the post of the visit at the time.  Suffice to say I think they are better now.

Here are the results.

I've been taking macro photography from 2004. I use both Canon film and digital cameras.
