Minotaur Beetle

This is a stackshot image of a posed dead Minotaur beetle on a log.

It was taken on my Canon 650D with the MPE-65mm lens.  Flash at 1/16 through “plate” diffuser.

I am relatively pleased with the result of the two sub stacks that I did this time in Photoshop.  However I do think a better pose and highlight control might be in order – so will have another go some other time.
