Banking on Bees
Well we all are banking on bees to pollinate our flowers and food plants! Here are a selection of solitary bees taken over the bank holiday weekend.
First one from Garston Wood, Dorset, that handily posed on bluebell flower. The first two are stacked macro images in Helicon Focus.

Then from river bank field near Wimborne – this bee climbed onto my brother Peter’s macro flash diffuser. Well what else could I do but take it.

Solitary Bee on Diffuser
At the same location I took another one, resting on a dandelion. Again the first of these two shots are stacked.
