One Weekend of Macro
I spent both days of the previous weekend shooting & videoing with my macro lenses. On the first day I visited Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve, and found there were several flies, snails and a new strange bug to photograph and video.
The photographs on this day were all taken on the Canon MPE-65mm Lens with Canon MT-24ex Twin Flash for lighting. These are they…

If anyone knows what those bugs are in the last 4 – please let me know.
The second day, I visited Town Common ( Christchurch ), where the main subjects were dragonflies, which I took in natural light with my Canon 100mm Macro Lens on a tripod.
These are they…

The video footage was all filmed using a Manfrotto BeFree Tripod, Canon 760D, Canon 100mm Macro Lens.
Here is the complete footage of the weekend.
And also a shorter one of what I thought was a Dragonfly tap dancing.
Please feel free to share the videos.
