Flowers with the Canon MPE-65mm lens

Whilst out looking for some damselflies and other insects, I noticed lots of small pretty flower low down on the ground.  As I only had my Canon MPE-65mm lens with me, and fancied taking the flowers, so I decided to have an experiment shooting the small flowers with this specialist lens, and also to try shooting the flowers with flash.
