Beetles and Bees are the macro subjects in the post, as I continue to catch up on the images taken earlier in the year. These were all taken late June / early July.
This first one is a very tiny beetle – I liked the shot as the background and the plant it was on makes it look like an alien world in my eyes.
This beetle is aptly named due to it’s markings. It kinda looks fierce too.
This bee posed for a shot on some neetles before zipping off.
A nice green beetle – also on nettles.
And where else would a Green Nettle Beetle hang out ?
This longhorn beetle, however prefered a bramble flower.
This bee is food for the spider.
Whilst this one eats some nectar from a flower.
And this one just rests on a daisy, sweet dreams!
All images taken on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Canon MPE 1-5x Macro Lens. Flash lit by a twin light.
