New Forest Fungi

The following fungi shots were all taken in the New Forest in October this year.  As the month was fairly warm and dry ( in fact the hottest week of the year occurred at the start of the month), there were not so many good specimens about as there are normally at this time of year – however a bit of hunting around the Anderwood and Matley Wood areas produced these ones which I like.

Fly Agaric – Amanita muscaria.  Taken on Canon 100mm F2.8 USM Macro Lens.  ISO 100 F7.1 1/5.  Natural Light, Tripod.

Twin Fungi.  Taken on Canon 100mm F2.8 USM Macro Lens.  ISO 100 F8 1/4.  Natural Light, Tripod.

Fungi and Chestnuts.  Taken on Canon 100mm F2.8 USM Macro Lens.  ISO 100 F13 1/5.  Natural Light, Tripod. (And no I did not place the chestnuts on this occasion, it is as I found it.)
