High Wood 100mm
On the first Bank holiday Monday in May, I took a visit to High Wood near Bradbury rings. I went reasonably light with just the 100mm macro lens on the camera, and the twin flash, to see how the diffuser worked with that lens. The results are pleasing with the deodorant top and vellum tent style diffuser with this setup too. A bit of experimentation with the angle of the flash lights was required at first – as these need to be in different position to that used with the MPE-65mm.
The following three shots are all with this setup.
Beefly. Taken on Canon 650D with Canon 100mm USM Macro Lens. ISO 400 F11 1/200. Flash from Canon MT-24ex Twin Macro Flash, with Vellum Diffuser.
Nut Weevil on leaf. Taken on Canon 650D with Canon 100mm USM Macro Lens. ISO 400 F11 1/200. Flash from Canon MT-24ex Twin Macro Flash, with Vellum Diffuser.
Bluebottle. Taken on Canon 650D with Canon 100mm USM Macro Lens. ISO 400 F11 1/200. Flash from Canon MT-24ex Twin Macro Flash, with Vellum Diffuser.
