Minor Bee Rework
When putting together a video of the shots posted on this website in 2013 – to follow on from my best of 2014 video slideshow, I noticed that some shots of a minor bee seemed a little dark. Having been playing with redoing a damselfly and dragonfly image from past years. I decided to give the minor bee a rework. I think there is now more detail showing in the eyes, and the pictures a little more lifted.
These images were all taken on a Canon 50D with the Canon MPE-65mm lens at various magnifications ( mostly between 1.5 and 2x lifesize). Flash light from the Canon MT-24ex Twin Flash. None of the images are cropped.
These are the results of the rework.
