The Ant by Gordon Zammit

Gordon recently sent me these wonderful close up shots of an ant.  He said he thought some might not find them interesting – well I find that hard to believe.  This first image is my particular pick of the lot, showing great detail in the ants eyes and jaws.

The rest of this set have a variety of poses – one can just imagine what it would be liked to be preyed on by this ferocious looking subject.
