Due to the hot weather and my lack of time to go out early this year – I have not taken as many damselflies up close as usual this year. However I hit a good couple of days on the 16th & 17th June, when I managed not only to get some nice head shots of some Common Blue Damselflies, but also a Golden-ringed Dragon fly.
All these images were taken on my newly fixed Canon MPE-65mm lens so are from 1:1 magnification upwards.
