End of May and Canon MPE-65mm ?
These photographs come from the final weekend of May 2018. They are also the last images taken on my Canon MPE-65mm for a while as it needs a repair. Going on previous Canon repairs that could be a while.
First up some damselfly portraits shot on the MPE.

Damselfly 3 images stacked.

Large Red Damselfly

Damselfly Face
And a mating pair taken on my Canon 100mm Macro lens.

Mating Common Blue Damseflies.
On which I also shot this Demoiselle.

The remaining images are all taken on the ailinig Canon MPE-65mm ( it could take an image at 1:1 and from about 1.9 – 5 x magnification, but nothing between the often useful 1-1.9x range).
These next ones being a mixture of creatures.

Hopper

Sawfly Larvae

Caterpillar on Nettles

Earwig

I did spot what I think was some interesting behaviour in the next two sets. First a figwort beetle, which I think is laying eggs.

And finally what looked to me to be two beetles fighting.
